Questions people ask about Mississauga neighbourhoods
Why do some neighbourhoods not appear here?
The directory lists residential communities. Industrial and business park districts such as Northeast, Gateway, Airport Corporate and the Southdown and Sheridan Park employment lands have no housing to speak of and are left out.
Are these the same boundaries agents use?
Yes. The guides use the community boundaries in the MLS® system, so the counts and medians match what an agent sees. Locals often use older village names or subdivision names inside those boundaries; each guide lists them.
Which neighbourhood should I start with?
If commuting by rail matters most, start with Port Credit, Clarkson or the Milton line communities. If you want a newer family home, start with Churchill Meadows, East Credit or Lisgar. If you want large lots and mature trees, start with Lorne Park and Mineola. The team is glad to narrow it down with you.
