Condo buyers in Creditview are looking at the east end of the neighbourhood, where Rathburn Road West between Mavis Road and Confederation Parkway is lined with mid rise and high rise buildings from the 1980s onward, and where the Parkside Village community at Parkside Village Drive and Confederation Parkway has added newer glass towers. The older Rathburn buildings tend to offer larger two bedroom suites, enclosed balconies, indoor pools and fees that include utilities; the Parkside Village towers offer newer one and two bedroom layouts and amenities such as gyms, party rooms and guest suites, with smaller footprints. What to check: the status certificate and reserve fund on any 1980s building, since garages, windows and elevators come due; whether the fee bundles heat and hydro or bills them separately; owned versus exclusive use parking and lockers; the proportion of rented units; and, in the newer towers, the number of elevators for the unit count. From either cluster you can walk to Square One and City Centre Transit Terminal, and Erindale GO is a short bus ride west on Rathburn.
