City Centre carries the most listings in this range, then Hurontario, Cooksville, Mississauga Valleys, Applewood and Fairview. Central Erin Mills, Clarkson and Meadowvale contribute a few low-rise complexes. Divide the monthly fee by the suite's square footage and compare buildings on that number. Then check what the fee covers: in a building that includes utilities, a higher fee can still be the cheaper home. Ask for the status certificate and look at the reserve fund study; a tower built before 1990 with a healthy reserve is often a better buy than a newer one with a thin fund.
