Townhouses are one of Hurontario's strengths, with freehold rows and condominium complexes spread along the collector streets off Hurontario, Bristol and Eglinton and inside the 1980s and 1990s subdivisions around Huntington Ridge Drive and Fairwind Drive. Freehold units give you the lot and the roof, usually with a single garage and a fenced rear yard, while condo townhouses add snow clearing and exterior maintenance for a monthly fee. Newer stacked and back-to-back towns have appeared near the Hurontario and Eglinton corner and within Pinnacle Uptown. Look closely at parking: some older complexes have tandem driveways or shared visitor lots, and stacked units may include only one spot. Check whether the basement is finished and whether the lot has a rear easement for utilities, which is common in these subdivisions. For condo towns, read the status certificate for roof and driveway reserve items, since many complexes are now past thirty years old.
