The five lakeshore neighbourhoods
Clarkson holds Rattray Marsh, Jack Darling Park and the quiet lakefront streets between them. Lorne Park's estate lots run down to the water south of Lakeshore Road, with Lorne Park Estates as the original summer colony. Port Credit is the village: the harbour, the marina, the Lakeshore Road main street and the new towers on the Brightwater lands. Mineola sits above the lake on the bluff east of the Credit River with large treed lots. Lakeview is the east end, where the Lakeview Village redevelopment and the new conservation area are turning a former generating station into a neighbourhood.
